I'm on holiday so I can't present any photos of Bergen until I get back. Instead I'll post some photos of my personal Paradise country; Australia, taken on my trip there in feb-march 2005. The lighthouse you see here is Point Lonsdale, built in 1902. It was named after Captain William Lonsdale, the first police magistrate in the Port Phillip colony. It stands on the western side of the entrance to Port Philip Bay. A cave in the cliff below it is said to have been used by the escaped convict William Buckley, "the wild white man", who lived for around 30 years with local Aborigines.
